I haven’t been to Vegas since I was a child. Las Vegas is only about an hour away from me by plane so I decided to “touch grass” and take a much needed vacation. Rather than staying in the center of the strip, I opted to stay at the Strat. There were a variety of things I wanted to try at this inexpensive property.

The first thing I did was get my players card. If you’re going to burn money, then burn it better baby π. Their reward’s program is under the name True Rewards. Members can participate in various promotions such as accumulating 25 points (1 Point = $1 spent at a slot) in 24 hours after signing up for True Rewards. After hitting this milestone, you’ll get a wheel spin for a prize. I got 2,500 points, while not a lot, it was redeemable for some free slot spins. The property wasn’t overly busy despite it being a 3-day weekend and I was a little lucky gambling! I started with $20 and ended with $431. You never know sometimes!

I purchased a ticket to the viewing area uptop at the strat and a ticket good for one ride. Well, there was only one ride that was working at the time anyways (lol). It was their dropper ride, or the Big Shot, and be ready because there was no warning when that thing went up ππ. I don’t scream but the men were πβ€οΈ

I used lyft a lot this trip. I found it to be cheaper almost everytime in Vegas. So, be sure to check the rates between Uber vs Lyft depending on what city you’re in. I had the driver take me to a Pokemon card store called 888 Collectibles. It was extremely busy with lines going outside the door. Maybe because PokeRev featured them? BUT, the staff were really friendly and ready to help whoever was next. It was a cute little store.

The next stop was called K1 Speed. It was pretty close to 888 Collectibles so I figured I’d stop in! I had to wait about 45 minutes for a race. But, there’s an arcade and honestly it’s really fun watching people race around. I wanted to keep going but there was more to do in Vegas! Go Karts are always fun. I was zoomin π. I found the facility to be clean and modern looking.

Back at the Strat, I went to Atomic Golf. It’s basically on property. Just a short little walk. Atomic Golf is a golf driving range that serves food, drinks, and has little games integrated into the driving range. There’s also putting that’s not available until later in the day.
I’m gonna be honest I have no idea how to golf LOL. The waiter told me just to have fun with it. Showed me how to work the games and how to get golf balls. The clubs were divided based on sex (male, female). The front desk people were really nice too. They said they thought I was a golfer because I came in alone and so confident (lmfao). Yeahhh noooo. The staff were really cute and nice π I still had fun smacking stuff. I’ve been inspired to get lessons πβ¨

I decided to eat at the top of the Strat. I had ate here with my parents when I was a child. I had fallen asleep during the entire dinner and barely remember anythingπ . My parents tease me about it to this day. So, I decided to go back up and make the memory real! The views were lovely. I felt like a cat surveying the area while I dinned alone in peace. π

Another place I dined at was Sanga. This is a Kaiseki Japanese restaraunt that was really good. It was a multi-course meal prepared by several Japanese chefs. I will write a seperate blog post about it here. So, check back if you’re interested. It was a lovely experience!

This pretty much sums up my Trip to Vegas. I had made some other stops during my trip but these were some of my favorites! I hope you and myself have a wonderful 2025. Hopefully, this fortune that I got comes true. This year will be a fantastic year.
Everyone deserves great happiness! I’ll be full-time travel streaming this year. twitch.tv/raehy Please come again! π

I feel like you should have gone to thunder from down under or some sort of Las Vegas equivalent . You also should have gone to Guy Fieriβs signature flavor town restaurant . Thatβs important to las Vegas culture.
LOL. No thunder from down under. Probably full of thirsty grannies anyways.
I can’t go in Guy Fieriβs establishment without his icon shirt.
Sorry, ARENT U SARAH FROM VEGAS? πππ
